While I was driving along the Wild Atlantic Way in Killadoon, in County Mayo.
I came upon a charming cottage, the sight of smoke from the chimney assured me someone called it home.
The cottage was surrounded by lovely stone walls, beyond them I saw the stunning clear blue sea and sands shimmering like silver.
The distant mountains added to the beauty and the nearby, sheep grazed happily.
As I painted, I couldn't but help imagine life in that cosy cottage by the sea.
